Latest Deejaysystem Mk2 version had a serious bug that has already been fixed:

Symptoms: after loading and playing some songs, the next load locks up the deck in "Loading..." state.

Cause: we had upgraded the bass_fx.dll library to the latest version (2.3.0.2). Yet again a new bug in the new version makes the deck lock-up.

Solution: revert the bass_fx.dll library to the previous working version (2.3.0.1)

What YOU should do for get rid of the problem: just re-download Deejaysystem Mk2 and re-install it over your current version. All downloads in our website have been updated and now contain the correct bug-free library.

Note: we have also upgraded the downloads for Deejaysystem VJ2. This bug appears when playing audio-only files, so the impact in VJ2 may not be as severe as with Mk2. Anyways we have also reverted the library in VJ2 for ensuring maximum reliability.

Sorry for this problem. This is not the first time that bass_fx.dll (developed by a third-party) introduces bugs when upgrading the version. Last time it caused access violations in our Mk2. Now it made the Deck lock up. I promise not to upgrade this library again without a prior period of BETA testing.
