ALL IS WORKING FINE. HAVE A BUILT IN CAM ON LAPTOP, THIS WORKS FINE. I AM TRING TO CONNECT OUR ROAMING CAM IN. HAVE BROUGHT A VIDEO TO USB GRABBER BUT CAN NOT GET IT TO WORK IN THE PROGRAM. WOULD IT AUTOMATICALLY BE CAMERA 1 ?

Deejaysystem supports any DirectShow-compliant video input device. Most USB webcams, DV cameras (1394-firewire) and PCI TV-tuner cards are DirectShow compliant.
The Video-to-USB grabber is probably not compatible with DirectShow video input model. The same happens with most USB TV tunners. I'd recommend you to swith to FireWire (1394) cameras. Most DV and mini-DV cameras can be connected to the laptop using a firewire cable. Deejaysystem will surely be able to detect and use them. And yes, the second camera is the number 1. Best regards, |
